Whether you are building from ground up or rehabbing an existing structure, one of the keys to a new developments’ success is having a cohesive team. In addition to the architect, engineers, designers and lenders, who are integral members of the team, the marketing agent is also an important piece of the puzzle. Too many times unfortunately, the marketing team is an afterthought, when they can be a valuable asset from day one. I started working in the new development realm back in 2010 in New York City. Partnering with one of the highest-ranking teams at The Corcoran Group, I learned the ropes while selling out two Williamsburg condo developments with 50 total units. Since then I have represented many new developments, both condo and rental, working with developers ranging from small family owned outfits to large conglomerates. I bring to the table years of development experience with a wide range of skills and contacts.
I typically partner up with the developer from the early stages of the project and provide consulting services throughout the process. I coordinate with the architect, interior designer and other members of the team to plot a roadmap for the future success of the development.
