Alan’s Experience
Alan Wieder is the principal broker of Catskills Home Services. He started selling real estate in NYC right out of college as the youngest agent at the prestigious Corcoran Group. After three years of selling and renting property throughout the city, he set his sights on new development marketing. Since then he has worked with some of the biggest developers in NYC, selling and renting out hundreds of developments. He provides developers with a full suite of services starting before the initial acquisition until after the last unit is sold or rented.

“Although I grew up in the city, I have always been a country boy at heart. Having spent every summer in the Catskills, I formed a deep connection to the land and an affinity for the lifestyle. I can still remember as a young boy shopping at the Apollo Mall and Jamesway/Ames, long before Wal-Mart became the place to go. I enjoyed going to The Old Catskill Game Farm, remember when the Rivoli Theatre actually screened movies and even swam in the indoor pool of the old Palms Country Club a few times. If you know what I’m talking about, you’ve been here a while too.
In 2019, my wife and I decided to leave the city behind for good and relocate to Sullivan County. We moved so that we could enjoy a quieter and more peaceful lifestyle, surrounded by nature. Elena comes to the Catskills with 10 plus years of experience in the Real Estate industry. An NYC native she has lived, and worked in all 5 boroughs bringing with her a wide range of experience, and contacts.
Elena’s started her career in Title Insurance where for 4 years she ran the closing desk for a prominent title company handling their commercial, and residential closings.
Before real estate Elena worked in TV/radio production, and event planning. When not working Elena enjoys kickboxing, trying new restaurants, and a good night out on the town.

Sandra is a New York resident, business proprietor, and farm owner in the upstate NY area. She has extensive knowledge of the New York real estate market having rented and purchased properties, both residential and commercial, in Manhattan, Brooklyn, New Jersey, and upstate New York. Her goal is to provide a seamless and professional buying experience from first showing to final closing.
She graduated from Kendall College of Art and Design with an Art/Design major and a minor in Industrial Design. She attended School of Visual Arts in Manhattan for jewelry design. She enjoys traveling, and has made a hobby of studying the architecture and history of the homes and hotels she has stayed in. Her artistic skills, as well as her life experience, enable her to take on the exciting task of finding the perfect home or business for her clients.

Steven Kraus is a third-generation real estate professional from Freeport, Long Island who has made the Hudson Valley his home for the past 25 years. Steven brings a wide range of experience to Catskills Home Services, most recently as a design associate doing high-end renovation drafting, logistics, and planning for kitchens, bathrooms, and interior space remodeling.
Steven lends his unique vision to a client’s needs and enjoys the collaborative process. His education includes graduate coursework in Architecture, Design, and Philosophy. The years in between college and finding a home at Catskills Home Services were spent running a world-class seafood market and restaurant, Gadaleto’s Seafood in New Paltz, NY. His strong customer service focus earned the business countless awards and solidified a strong work ethic. Solution-oriented, Steven thinks anything is possible.
Accompanying Steven with inspections, home showings, and even some client meetings, is Buddr. Buddr is our youngest real estate ‘pawfessional’ and her practice mainly focuses on snacks, treats, homes with fenced-in yards, and weeding out squirrels as neighbors.
